O mnie


 

Adiunktka w Zakładzie Literatury Amerykańskiej. W 2004 roku obroniła na UŁ doktorat pt. „Współczesna Przemoc Jako Spektakl: Przemoc i Hiperrealność w Twórczości Dona DeLillo, Breta Eastona Ellisa i Stephena Wrighta.” W latach 2005-2008 studiowała literaturę amerykańską i gender studies na Wydziale Języka Angielskiego na Uniwersytecie Maine w Orono, Maine, USA (dyplom Master of Arts w zakresie literaturoznawstwa). Na tej samej uczelni współpracowała z National Poetry Foundation, gdzie w roku akademickim 2007/2008 zajmowała się procesem redakcyjnym czasopisma naukowego Paideuma: Studies in American and British Modernism. Autorka krajowych i zagranicznych publikacji dotyczących twórczości takich autorów jak Bret Easton Ellis, Louise Erdrich, Virginia Woolf, Italo Calvino, Nicole Brossard, Joanna Russ, Thalia Field, Eileen Myles, a także autorek z kręgu Language (Lyn Hejinian, Carla Harryman, oraz Leslie Scalapino). Współredaktorka tomu Theory That Matters: What Practice After Theory (Cambridge Scholars 2013) oraz numeru specjalnego czasopisma naukowego Polish Journal for American Studies 11 (2017), poświęconego innowacji we współczesnej poezji amerykańskiej (obie książki zredagowane z Prof. Kacprem Bartczakiem). Członkini towarzystw naukowych Contemporary Women's Writing Association (CWWA) i Society for the Study of American Women Writers (SSAWW).
 
Obecnie pracuje nad książką poświęconą twórczości Leslie Scalapino: Upping the Ante of the Real: Speculative Poetics of Leslie Scalapino.
 
Stypendystka Fundacji Kościuszkowskiej 2017/2018 (badania prowadzone w Mandeville Special Collections Library na Uniwersytecie Kalifornijskim w San Diego, USA).
